AI Percent to Prompts Calculator
Turn the remaining percentage on an AI usage meter into an approximate count of prompts, messages, searches or coding tasks. Choose the provider and usage window, or calibrate the estimate with your own recent history.
Build your estimate
Pick a platform, match the window it shows, then read the likely range.

Main factors
Claude Pro uses your plan, remaining percentage, mode, context and effort level.
Limit basis: Anthropic's published 5-hour examples: roughly 45 chats on Pro, 225 on Max 5x and 900 on Max 20x. Coding prompts are usually fewer.
Anthropic API pricing is separate from Claude subscription usage.

This tool is independent and does not connect to your provider account. Results are unofficial planning estimates, not live limits or guaranteed prompt counts. Actual usage varies by plan, model, context, features, task complexity and provider changes. API cost references are not subscription charges.
Personalize with your recent usage
Compare two readings from the same reset window and enter how many similar tasks you completed between them. Keep the provider, plan, model and task type the same. Your current percentage comes from the estimate above.
This is a personal pace estimate, not a provider limit. A different model, task or context size can change how quickly usage is consumed.
Calculators
Choose your AI platform
Each provider tracks usage differently. Select the matching calculator and reset window to get a relevant planning estimate.
How the estimate works
The general estimator scales a reference allowance for your selected plan and reset window by the remaining percentage and model or task factors. These values are independent planning estimates, not live or guaranteed provider limits. For a platform with an account-specific usage meter, open its dedicated calculator and compare recent readings. Where available, add your own recent activity to personalize a count estimate.
Start With Percent Left
Use the remaining percentage your AI tool shows, not the percentage already used.
Match The Window
Choose the reset window, plan and platform so the estimate uses the closest preset.

FAQ
Quick answers about how the estimator treats remaining percentage, reset windows and unofficial AI usage ranges.
How do I convert an AI usage percentage into prompts?
For a fixed reference allowance, estimate units left as reference count × remaining percentage ÷ 100. For example, 30% of a 40-request allowance is about 12 requests. Most AI providers use dynamic limits rather than one fixed prompt count, so choose the matching platform, plan and reset window, or compare two readings from your own recent use to calibrate the estimate.
What does 50% AI usage remaining mean?
It means the provider reports half of the allowance for that specific meter or reset window is left. It does not necessarily mean half of a known number of prompts unless the provider publishes a fixed count for your plan and feature.
Can this show the exact number of ChatGPT or Claude messages left?
No. This site does not connect to your account, and usage can depend on the plan, model, task and active limit window. Use your provider's meter for the account's current reading; treat this result as a planning estimate.
How does personal usage calibration work?
Compare readings from the same provider, model and reset window. For example, if the meter drops from 80% to 70% after 5 similar requests, you used about 2 percentage points per request; at 70% remaining, that pace suggests roughly 35 similar requests left. This is only a planning estimate because later requests may use more or less allowance.
Does this calculate exact tokens?
No. It estimates prompts, tasks, messages or usage units from your remaining percentage.
Why is it approximate?
AI platforms use dynamic limits based on plan, model, system capacity, context, files and task complexity.
What does remaining percentage mean?
It is the percentage the platform shows as remaining, not the percentage already used.
Is this official?
No. It is an independent estimator.
